Show Rules
- Samples and/or products may not be removed from the Show by visitors at anytime.
- NO CHILDREN under 16 (including infants) are allowed on the Show floor at anytime! Childcare is available for a nominal fee.
- On-site Registration closes two hours before show closing each show day.
- Buyers are allowed on the show floor during show hours only. Buyers must be off the show floor at show closing and will not be readmitted under any circumstances.
- As this is a Trade Show, only members of your store who are involved in the buying process can attend. No guests allowed.
- Photography of products or displays is not permitted without exhibitor permission.
Business Credentials for Registration
If you have not attended the Toronto International Gift Fair or any other GLM show, business credentials must be provided to complete your pre-registration. See below list for acceptable business credentials. Please be advised that the GLM shows are ONLY open to the Trade and proper business credentials MUST be provided before your registration is accepted and complete.
You must submit proper gift and home accessories related retail business identification to qualify your business, and separate identification to qualify each individual employee from your company.
IMPORTANT: For on-site registration and pre-registration, please enclose or bring proper business identification in order to receive your show badge.
Please provide:
- TWO forms of Company identification
- ONE proof of employment for each attendee
See below for acceptable identification. We reserve the right to request additional business identification if deemed necessary.
Acceptable COMPANY identification includes at least TWO of any of the following:
- Sales tax license
- Business license
- Company cheque
- Several recent invoices from industry manufacturers for goods purchased at wholesale/in quantity
- Appropriate "Yellow Pages" listing
- Store/commercial lease indicating type of business
- Photograph of your store front
- Mail Order Companies to provide catalog
- Manufacturers' Representatives (multi-line) should provide a list of lines currently being handled
- Wholesalers, importers and exporters should provide samples of printed material (brochures, catalogs, etc.) that show product selection and inventory.
Acceptable EMPLOYEE identification includes at least ONE of any of the following:
- Personalized, imprinted business card
- Copy of W-2 form
- Copy of cancelled company payroll check or pay-check stub
- Copy of company insurance card
- Copy of company credit card with employee’s and company's name
